Quartz is non-porous, so it never needs sealing and shrugs off stains from oil, coffee and wine. Use trivets for hot pans and cutting boards for knives to keep the polish pristine. Available in Gloss Leather, Satin Matte and Honed Stone finishes, in 20 mm and 30 mm thicknesses.
Quartz Surfaces: What to Know Before You Buy
What is engineered quartz?
Engineered quartz is a slab made by binding around 93% natural quartz aggregates with pigments and polymer resins, then polishing it to a finished surface. Haique slabs are made on a fully automated Italian Breton line in Udaipur, Rajasthan — so you get the look of natural stone with far more consistency and strength.
Quartz vs granite — which should I choose?
Quartz is non-porous, so it resists staining and never needs sealing, and its colours and veining stay consistent from slab to slab. Granite is a natural stone — every slab is unique and it handles direct heat slightly better, but it needs periodic sealing. For busy family kitchens, quartz is usually the lower-maintenance choice.
Choosing a finish and caring for it
Gloss Leather gives a deep polished look, Satin Matte softens reflections, and Honed Stone is the most muted. View a full slab in your room’s light before deciding — small samples can hide the veining. Day to day, just wipe with a soft cloth and mild soap; avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive pads.
